Hank Zeisler collected his 121st hit of the season Aug. 27, breaking the Florence Y'alls' single-season hits record.

Florence lost the game 6-4.

The Y'alls' first baseman and team captain reached the milestone during a 6-4 defeat to the Lake Erie Crushers at Thomas More Stadium. The team announced on X that the hit shattered the franchise's single-season record, referring to Zeisler by his clubhouse nickname "Cap."

Zeisler, a Kentfield, California, native in his fourth season with the Y'alls, has been rewriting the franchise record book all summer. He broke the all-time career hits record with a single on July 21. He also holds franchise marks for career RBIs (193), career runs scored, career home runs (52) and career walks.

The 2025 Frontier League MVP runner-up and three-time All-Star joined Florence midway through the 2023 season after finishing his collegiate career at the University of Missouri. He earned Frontier League Player of the Week honors for the week of July 28 through Aug. 2.

Florence sits at 52-41 after splitting the four-game set with Lake Erie, which included a doubleheader sweep on Aug. 26. The Y'alls held a seven-game wild-card cushion as recently as Aug. 10, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer, though a five-game losing streak through Aug. 25 cut into that lead.
