David Glancy's ninth-inning solo home run lifted the Atlantic Conference past the Midwest squad 2-1 in the 2026 Frontier League Y'all-Star Game at Thomas More Stadium on Wednesday, July 15.

Glancy, from Neptune, N.J., lined a fastball from Florence Y'alls pitcher Junior Cerda over the left field wall at the 343-foot mark to break a 1-1 tie. The Midwest squad, which included seven Florence Y'alls all-stars as the home-team representatives, could not answer in the bottom of the ninth. Glancy was named game MVP.

The game played out as a pitcher's duel rather than the typical all-star slugfest. NKyTribune columnist Dan Weber wrote Thursday that it "didn't look or feel like an all-star game" but rather "a tight, taut thriller."

Florence's own arms made an impression. Cerda and fellow Y'alls pitcher Chris Barraza both touched 96 mph on the radar gun. Leaping and diving outfield catches on both sides kept the score tight early.

The Y'alls placed seven players on the Midwest all-star roster. The team named five publicly: Brett Blomquist, Hank Zeisler, Brendan Bobo, Cerda, and Barraza.

The Y'all-Star Game capped a three-day midseason celebration at Thomas More Stadium that included a media day and awards lunch on Monday, July 13, and a Home Run Derby on Tuesday, July 14. Game-night festivities featured the Zooperstars' between-inning comedy skits, a parking lot full of tailgaters, and a petting zoo with horses, including miniature horses.

Florence hosted the Frontier League's midseason all-star event for the third time, following 2007 and 2016. Frontier League Commissioner Steve Tahsler told the Florence City Council in July 2025 that Florence was the first market in league history to host three times in 20 years, citing the condition and continued upgrades to the stadium.

The Y'alls play under first-year field manager Toby Hall, a former nine-year MLB catcher named to the position in November 2025.

The Frontier League's second half opens Friday, July 18, when the Florence Y'alls host the Evansville Otters at Thomas More Stadium. The series continues Saturday, July 19.
