The Florence Y'alls will open their 2027 season at Thomas More Stadium on May 6, 2027, with a six-game homestand against the Lake Erie Crushers.
It will be the first time the club has started a season at home since 2024, according to a team press release published Oct. 1. The schedule drops as the Y'alls enter their first campaign under the National Association of Professional Baseball (NAPB), the rebranded name for the former Frontier League, as we reported Oct. 1.
The expanded NAPB now has 20 teams across two conferences and four divisions after adding the Kane County Cougars and Cleburne Railroaders. Each team will play 102 games. Florence stays in the Central Division of the Midwest Conference alongside the Evansville Otters, Lake Erie Crushers, Kane County Cougars and Schaumburg Boomers.
The schedule sends the Y'alls to two destinations they have never visited. Six-game road series against the Down East Bird Dawgs in North Carolina and the Cleburne Railroaders in Texas are set for July 2027. Both trips are franchise firsts.
Cross-conference play also expands. Florence has 21 games against Atlantic Conference opponents in 2027, up from 12 in 2026. Twelve of those will be played at Thomas More Stadium and nine on the road.
Field Manager Toby Hall enters his second season leading the club after Florence earned its first playoff berth since 2021 during the 2026 campaign. The Y'alls improved by 12 wins over their 2025 record.
Florence will face Evansville, Kane County and Joliet 12 times each in 2027, and Lake Erie, Schaumburg, Washington, Cleburne and Down East nine times apiece. Windy City appears six times and Mississippi three times at home.
The NAPB is an official partner league of Major League Baseball.
