Boone County residents can pick pumpkins, run corn mazes and ride hay wagons at three local farms starting Sept. 19.

Sugar Ridge Family Farm in Walton, McGlasson Farms in Hebron and Kinman Farm Market in Burlington are all offering fall activities through late October or into November. Here is what each farm has planned and what it will cost.

Sugar Ridge Family Farm, Walton

Sugar Ridge Family Farm opens its fall season with a kickoff weekend Sept. 19–20 at 12273 Green Road in Walton, according to the farm's Facebook page.

After that, the farm is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 29. Admission is $10 and includes a hay wagon ride. The farm also offers pumpkins, mazes and play areas, LINK nky reported.

McGlasson Farms, Hebron

McGlasson Farms sits at 5832 River Road in Hebron, overlooking the Ohio River Valley. The sixth-generation family farm sells apples, pumpkins and other seasonal produce and offers U-pick pumpkins and apples, the Courier Journal reported.

The farm is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through November. U-pick hours may vary. Call 859-689-5229 for details.

Jack McGlasson, co-owner and operator, told the Kentucky Department of Agriculture in a 2025 feature: "We've lived and farmed this land for 150-plus years."

Both McGlasson Farms and Kinman Farm Market hold Kentucky Farm Bureau Certified Farm Market status, a program now in its 31st year.

Kinman Farm Market, Burlington

Kinman Farm Market's Fall Fest runs Fridays through Sundays from Sept. 26 through Oct. 31 at 4175 Burlington Pike in Burlington. Admission is $15, and children 2 and under get in free, according to 365 Cincinnati.

That ticket covers a hayride, corn maze, Maci Lou's Barnyard, a jumping pillow and Manny's Corn Express children's train. Pony rides are not included in admission.

Kinman is open May through December and also sells jams, jellies and salsa year-round. Call 859-918-1682 for more information.
