Ryle's Hayden Li and Elizabeth Dickson both cracked the top 20 in Kentucky's statewide golf rankings, according to the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association's All-State Points Report updated Aug. 31, LINK nky reported.
Li, a golfer at Ryle High School in Union, ranks 18th among boys with 530 points across eight event placings. Dickson sits 19th among girls with 475 points across eight events, making her the top-ranked local girl in the state.
The rankings update came after the 2026 All 'A' Classic Statewide Golf Tournaments wrapped up Aug. 31 in Richmond. Lexington Christian Academy swept the boys and girls team titles.
St. Henry girls post program-best third place
St. Henry's girls team turned in the biggest local result at the All 'A' Classic, finishing third with a 372 at Arlington Golf Club. The Region 9 champions trailed champion Lexington Christian Academy (316) and runner-up University Heights Academy (366).
"Our third-place finish at the All 'A' state tourney in Richmond was our highest finish in the history of the tournament," girls coach Mary Beth Beimesch said. "All of us coaches are very proud of this achievement and proud of how our young ladies play with purpose."
Eighth grader Reese Anthony led the Crusaders with an 80. She finished seventh individually among 93 competitors, nine shots behind champion Kenzie Willen (71) and three behind runner-up Grace Soale (77). Anthony already owns multiple Greater Cincinnati Golf Association tournament wins and player-of-the-year honors.
Ari Burton (94), Alexis Fassbender (97), Sophia Houp (101) and Addalynn Osborne (112) rounded out St. Henry's scoring. Burton, Fassbender and Houp all placed in the top 40.
St. Henry boys take fifth
St. Henry's boys finished fifth at Gibson Bay with a 321. Parker Isaacs led the Crusaders with a 77, tying for 11th individually among 112 competitors. Parker Lutz (81), Reed Stringer (81) and Sam Duckworth (82) all finished inside the top 40.
Walton-Verona placed ninth (334), with Logan Bach matching Isaacs' 77. Bishop Brossart tied for 11th, led by Derek Bezold's 77.
State rankings snapshot
On the boys side, St. Henry's Isaacs leads all local golfers at 16th statewide with 550 points. Li follows at 18th, and Dixie Heights' Jack Woolwine sits 20th with 510. Louisville St. Xavier's Luc Kelty tops the state at 670 points.
Among girls, Dickson's 19th-place ranking leads locally. Notre Dame Academy's Maria Penaranda is 21st with 425 points, and Anthony ranks inside the top 45 with 245.
Postseason play begins Sept. 21, with state tournaments scheduled for Oct. 10.
