The Ryle Raiders boys golf team won the Houston Oaks Golf Tournament in Paris, Kentucky, claiming their third tournament championship of the 2026 fall season.
The school announced the victory on X on Aug. 24, saying the Raiders topped a very competitive field at Houston Oaks Golf Course in Bourbon County.
The Raiders opened the season with first-place finishes at the Pendleton County and Highlands tournaments, results the Ryle Athletics account celebrated on July 29, noting the team was bringing hardware back to Union after both road wins.
The early-season run builds on momentum from last fall, when the Ryle boys golf squad finished sixth at the KHSAA State Championship in October 2025.
Ryle High School, located in Union, competes in one of the state's toughest regions for golf. Coach Jumpei Okuda's squad has now collected three trophies before the calendar turns to September, positioning the Raiders for another deep postseason push.
