The Florence Police Department's free "Popsicles with Police" series has two stops left this summer, both on Thursday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m.

The next event is Thursday, July 23, at Lincoln Woods Park. The final stop is Thursday, July 30, at Orleans Park.

The program has rotated through a different Florence park each Thursday in July, giving residents a chance to meet officers and grab a free popsicle in a casual setting, according to the City of Florence. One scheduled stop, at Kentaboo Park on July 9, was canceled.
