A night of Frontier League baseball at Thomas More Stadium will double as a fundraiser for local journalism on Aug. 27, when the Florence Y'alls and LINK nky team up for "Baseball & Bylines."

The event puts ticket-holders on the Y'alls Party Patio, starting at 6:45 p.m. Adult tickets run $15 (plus fees) and include the ballpark buffet and a first drink. Kids get in for $10.

All proceeds benefit the NKY Community Journalism Fund, administered through Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky. The fund supports LINK nky, an independent newsroom covering Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties, so residents can access free, fact-based local reporting.

LINK nky has promoted the event on social media since at least July 9, billing it as a night of baseball, food, drinks and community in support of local news.

The Y'alls drew a capacity crowd of 3,349 to their 2026 home opener at Thomas More Stadium earlier this season and hosted the Frontier League All-Star Game in July for the third time. The team averaged 2,341 fans per home game last season.
