Florence families can grab a free meal and catch a movie under the stars at South Fork Park on Sept. 11.

The City of Florence is hosting a Movie Night at Neighborhood Night Out, starting with a free cookout at 5 p.m. and a screening of "Inside Out 2" at 5:30 p.m. The city promoted the event on its official X account, encouraging residents to bring their own chairs and playfully warning that staying home would be a mistake.

South Fork Park features disc golf, scenic trails, picnic areas and a creek.
