The regional economic development group that helped land Amazon's air hub in Hebron, Fidelity Investments and other major employers in Boone County has a new top development executive.
BE NKY Growth Partnership promoted Kimberly Rossetti to chief economic development officer on Aug. 24, elevating her from vice president of economic development. Rossetti will lead the organization's work recruiting and keeping businesses across Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties. She will also take a key role in the Build + Elevate 2032 Campaign, an investor initiative the organization is launching.
The numbers back her up. Since 2019, Rossetti's team has won 130 projects representing more than $2 billion in capital investment and more than 10,570 announced new jobs, according to BE NKY. Companies her team helped bring to or expand in the region include Amazon, Fidelity Investments, Thermo Fisher Scientific, ZEISS Vision Care in Hebron, Niagara Bottling and FEAM AERO.
"I hired Kimberly not long after I became President & CEO of BE NKY in 2019, and she is a driver of our region's growth, strengthening Northern Kentucky's economic development and the momentum within our company," BE NKY President and CEO Lee Crume said in the announcement.
Rossetti moved to Northern Kentucky in 2019. In 2024, Consultant Connect named her one of North America's Top 50 Economic Developers. She serves as past chair of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development and graduated from Leadership Cincinnati in 2023.
The promotion comes during an accelerating year for the organization. Through May 2026, BE NKY had announced five project wins representing 248 jobs, compared to three wins and 60 jobs at the same point in 2025, according to the group's economic development forecast.
BE NKY is scheduled to host its Q3 Economic Development Update on Aug. 26 at Florence Nature Park Event Center, where regional leaders and investors will hear updates on economic development activity and news from the Northern Kentucky Port Authority.
