Tickets go on sale August 17, for GO Pantry's fourth annual Party for a Purpose, the Florence nonprofit's biggest fundraiser of the year. The organization feeds more than 1,300 food-insecure kids every week across six counties.
The gala will be held August 22, at Turfway Park Racing and Gaming in Florence. It has raised more than $100,000 net each of the past three years and drew more than 300 guests in 2025, according to the organization.
Sheila Gray of Local 12 will emcee.
What's included
Individual tickets cost $125 and cover admission, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and two drink tickets for beer, wine, or liquor. The grazing menu features sliders, Hot Brown bites, fajitas, vegetable frittata, chicken and waffles, and churros.
The event skips the long speeches in favor of silent auction packages, party games, a bourbon raffle, and a photo booth. GO Pantry bills it as more casual than a traditional gala.
How to get involved
Registration, raffle tickets, and silent auction bidding open Monday, August 17, at goparty26.givesmart.com or by texting GOPARTY26 to 76278. Supporters who cannot attend can still bid on auction items and buy raffle tickets. Winners do not need to be present.
