Families with students at Erpenbeck Elementary School in Florence can meet their child's teacher, learn classroom expectations and review supply lists six days before the first bell rings on Aug. 19.

The school is hosting Meet the Teacher Night on Aug. 13, with staggered sessions split by last name. Families with last names A through N attend from 4 to 5 p.m. Families with last names O through Z attend from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Sessions are staggered to manage crowds.

The school posted the event on its official Facebook page and on the Boone County Schools district website on Aug. 5.

Supply lists posted

Erpenbeck also published 2026-27 school supply lists by grade level on its Facebook page, giving families a concrete checklist to gather before the Aug. 13 event or the first day of class. The lists are organized by grade, covering pre-K through fifth grade.
