Covington-based news organization LINK nky is selling tickets to a summer fundraiser that pairs a Florence Y'alls baseball game with a ballpark buffet on the stadium's Party Patio.

The event, called Baseball & Bylines, takes place Aug. 27, at 6:45 p.m. at Thomas More Stadium, 7950 Freedom Way in Florence. All proceeds benefit the NKY Community Journalism Fund, according to the event's ticket page on Bold Type Tickets.

Adult tickets are $15 ($18 with fees) and include the buffet and a first drink. Child tickets are $10.

LINK nky described the evening on its ticket page as a chance to "connect with the community, and help support local journalism in Northern Kentucky." The organization, which covers news across the region from its office at 523 Madison Ave. in Covington, has been promoting the event on social media since at least July 9.

What's included

Each adult ticket covers entry to the Y'alls game, access to the Party Patio, the ballpark buffet, and one drink. The ticket page lists hot dogs and beer among the offerings. Child tickets include game entry and the buffet.

Thomas More Stadium holds 4,500 fans and sits just off I-71/75 in Florence. The Y'alls, an independent Frontier League team, have called the ballpark home since adopting their name in 2019. The team name draws from the city's iconic water tower, a Florence landmark since 1974.
